Accessibility target

Northstar Stack uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its target for the public website. The standard covers whether content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and compatible with assistive technology.

Current practices

• Semantic headings, labels, landmarks, and page-language metadata
• Keyboard access for navigation, forms, and disclosure controls
• Visible focus states and text that remains readable at mobile widths
• Reduced-motion support for people who request it in their device settings
• Alternative text or accessible labels for meaningful images and diagrams

Ongoing review

Accessibility is reviewed as pages, forms, and diagrams change. Reported barriers are prioritized in the same release path as other site defects.

Northstar Stack provides a reasonable alternative format for public information when the standard page creates a barrier.
