How It Works
Move the information once. Keep the evidence attached.
Northstar Stack connects the information marketing depends on to a clear decision process. The work begins with the sources the company already has and ends with an owner, a reason, and a visible next move.
1. Declare the source inventory
The first step is to name the sources that can answer the business question. That may include sales calls, CRM records, support issues, product usage, customer research, leadership decisions, and current marketing work.
Each source has an owner, an access boundary, and an expected use. Missing sources remain visible as gaps. An interview can clarify context, but it does not replace a record that should exist elsewhere.
2. Route useful signals into marketing
The Listening Engine reviews the declared sources for evidence that can change a marketing decision. It preserves the source, separates direct evidence from interpretation, and rejects unsupported claims.
Keep
Decision-grade evidence
A quote, measurement, behavior, or corroborated pattern that can change what marketing does.
Hold
Signals that need proof
A plausible pattern that stays open until another source supports it.
3. Convert evidence into a named decision
Evidence is routed to the person who can act on it. The record states what changed, what decision is required, who owns it, and when it should be revisited. AI can prepare the evidence and recommendation. A person still owns consequential decisions.
4. Make the work visible by default
The Glass Dashboard publishes the decision, current work, blockers, and observed result back to the company. A stakeholder can see the answer without asking marketing to rebuild it for another meeting.
The system is complete only when information reaches a decision and the result becomes visible to the people who depend on it.
Where this fits
Northstar Stack is designed for B2B software companies where marketing owns a revenue outcome but depends on information held by sales, customer success, product, or leadership. It is most useful when the company already creates valuable evidence but lacks a reliable route from that evidence to the work.
